If you drop a car key, there is a high chance the key ring can break off, this is popular on the Ford Transit blue remote, and Volkswagen flip remotes, so where do you put your key ring now?

SInce i've been an Auto Locksmith i've come across a surprising number of keys with holes drilled through them, allowing a key ring to placed through it, however all keys today come with a transponder hidden somewhere inside, some contain glass or carbon transponder chips, others have the transponder data  attatched to the circuit board. If you drill through your key, you have a high chance of damaging something inside, if you do, you'll likely find the vehicle will no longer start with that key, or the remote will fail.

Most key cases can be replaced, and we keep a lot of them in stock, instead of the risk of damaging your key (and costing you a lot more money) why not just get a replacement case?
