The Vauxhall Corsa D model between 2006-2009 has a common problem of a spanner light flashing, preventing the vehicle from starting, when you turn the key nothing happens. This is normally after having a flat battery and attempting to start the car. What has happened is the immobilser has become corrupt, and needs to be re-aligned with the car's other control units, this will allow the car to start once again.
