At Allsafe Auto Locksmiths we understand what a frustrating experience losing your car keys can be, and we try to make this it as easy as possible.
That’s why at Allsafe, we can get you back on the road with a new set of keys the same day.
We can also delete your old keys from the vehicle’s on board computer, therefore if someone has found your keys and locates your vehicle, they will be unable to start the car.
We also offer a lock re-pinning service, built up to new keys, this prevents the old key from turning in the locks, making the car completely immobilised. This is normally useful if you have a Van with tools in the rear.
How does it work?
First of all, your car is probably locked, what do we do now?
We’ll have to gain entry to your vehicle, we do this quickly and without damage, using state of the art tools designed to each specific lock.
Now we’re in we’ll have to make a key to match, this can be done by decoding the lock, or obtaining the key codes from the main dealer. Once we have the key codes, we can cut the key using our computerised key cutting machinery in the back of the van.
Once we have a key cut, we can begin the programming method, once again, we use state of the art tools for the job, the majority of vehicles can be re-coded using diagnositc software, via the on board diagnostic socket (OBD).
We will then erase your lost keys, for peace of mind.
How long does it take?
That Depends on the make and model of the vehicle, some lost key situations can be resolved within 30 minutes, but most are normally under an hour, give us a call for more details.
