Keys

HU66 Key

HU66
The HU66 blade is the most common key blade used on Skoda Vehicles, most Skoda, Seat, Skoda or Audi can have a standard spare key, it contains a small transponder chip, so it will start the car.
This is the cheapest option, or you can have a remote key (see below)

There are other types of Skoda key (Transporter T4, Mk3 Golf, Old Beetle etc.) We cut and supply these too.

Common Skoda Key problems

Chrome flip breaking / Key blade falling off

A very common problem with new Skoda keys is the chrome part of the flip mechinism breaking, allowing the key blade to just fall off. This happens due to the location of the hole for the roll pin to go through, it creates a weak spot and with wear and tear eventually the key blade will break off. This can be sorted by either fitting with a new case, or replacing the key altogether. Call us for a quote.
