How Does It Work?
1. Gaining Entry
If your keys are lost, the first challenge is usually getting into the vehicle. We use specialist, vehicle-specific lock picking equipment to gain entry quickly and without causing damage.
2. Creating a New Key
Once access has been gained, we create a new key for your vehicle. This is done either by decoding the locks or by obtaining the key information from the manufacturer. Using our computerised key cutting equipment, we can accurately cut a new key on-site.
3. Programming the Key
Modern vehicles require the key to be programmed to the vehicle’s immobiliser system. We use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-approved procedures to program the new key via the vehicle’s onboard diagnostic (OBD) system.
4. Removing Lost Keys
For complete peace of mind, we can erase any missing keys from the vehicle’s memory, ensuring they can no longer be used to start the vehicle.
